Dumb Enough To Do It Again
As you may have figured out from some of
my recent article topics, I’m pregnant again. I’ve just
completed my third month and have officially been given the OK by
my doctor to make it public. So there you go!
I’m pregnant!
Honestly, not writing about the pregnancy
has been a lot harder than I’d thought it would be. Coping
with a pregnancy and a toddler is much different than the happy,
ethereal, first-time pregnancy thing. In fact, I found it
impossible to keep my mouth shut; I’d sit down at the
keyboard ready to blog about something cute Maddie did that day and
find my fingers wandering off to talk about my pregnancy fatigue.
So I finally gave in and wrote a few pieces that I’ve been
sitting on for a few weeks now. At a few different points in my
first trimester I sat down and wrote out where I was at the time.
The first piece, in fact, was written within 24 hours of finding
out I was pregnant – which happened while on vacation!
Next week I’ll be heading off to family time for
Thanksgiving, but I’ll be posting those “secret”
entries to catch you up to where I am now. For the weekend, I leave
you with my good news.
Come the end of May, the family will get bigger!
